Calcium formate

Calcium formate, is an organic substance with molecular formula C2H2O4Ca and molecular weight 130. 

The main purpose

1. Calcium formate can replace citric acid and fumaric acid as a acidifier, as well as calcium propionate as a preservative and mold inhibitor. It is suitable for use in various animal feed and has functions such as preventing diarrhea and diarrhea, helping feed digestion and absorption.

2.Calcium formate is used in construction. It is as fast setting agent, lubricant, and early strength agent for cement,concrete,mortar and tile adhensives.The dosage and precautions for calcium formate participation are approximately 0.5~1.0% per ton of dry powder mortar and concrete, with a maximum addition of 2.5%. The dosage of calcium formate gradually increases with the decrease of temperature, and even if applied in the amount of 0.3-0.5% in summer, it will have a significant early strength effect.

3. Calcium formate could be as the source of calcium in the foliar fertilizers.
